Welcome to the Pearland Cycling Club

The Pearland Cycling Club is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization that promotes all forms of bicycling.  Established in 2004, the PCC is based in Pearland, Texas.  Our goals are to encourage bicycling for health, recreation, and transportation.  We also promote bicycle safety, improving bicycling facilities, and to further all phases of bicycling.  We offer regular group rides in the Pearland and surrounding areas as well as groups to ride with in supported charity events such as the annual BP MS 150 from Houston to Austin.  We have several pace groups available, and our ride start is conveniently located near FM 518 and Highway 288.  Only 20 minutes south of Downtown Houston, you'll have access to rural roads with light traffic, one traffic light, and a handful of stop signs.  We have access to some of the best cycling roads in the Metropolitan Houston area.

Check out our Events link to keep abreast of all our upcoming club activities like our first Friday club socials,  cycling education and training seminars, and special club sponsored rides and events.  Weekly club rides are Saturdays at 730 AM from May through September (8 AM otherwise) and Sundays at 8 AM.  Ride starts are at Fitness Solutions, 9330 Broadway (FM 518) in Pearland.  See the Maps link to learn more about our favorite club routes.

Through our close relationship with major sponsor Fitness Solutions, we offer discounts on personal training and other services to enhance your healthy lifestyle.  Fitness Solutions features USA Cycling certified coaches, advanced bicycle fitting, massage therapy, and other services that make them the premier cycling trainings in the Houston area.

In addition, our local cycling shop and major sponsor, Pearland Cycles, offers PCC card carrying club members a 10% discount on bicycle parts and accessories.

Thanks for visiting our site.  On behalf of our club I would like to extend an invitation to all avid cyclists to come and ride with us in the great state of Texas.

Gaye Koenning, President, Pearland Cycling Club
