PCC Junior Development

Pearland Cycling Club has established a junior development program to support promising young cyclists in competitive cycling. You can donate to this program either by sending in a check made out to Pearland Cycling Club (please note it is for the PCC Junior Development program in the memo field) or online through Active.com. All donations through Active.com will be assessed a 6.5% charge plus $1 fee per donation.

The PCC board intends to try to match donations up to $1,000 per club year. All matching donations will be subject to the approval of the PCC board.

Candidates for junior development funds will be determined by the PCC board. Eligibility will be dependent on factors the PCC board deem relevant including but not limited to: the junior is a dues paying club member, financial need, level of club support from prospective candidates, as well as competitive success.

Pearland Cycling Club's Jersey Design is Complete!

The new Pearland Cycling Club jersey design is complete. The manufacturer is Canari. The club's cost is approximately $65, but the club is offering them to dues paying members for $30. The jersey is available in both women's and men's versions as well as a race cut (tighter) and regular cut (looser) for both. Fit kits will be available at the club picnic on Saturday, October 17, 2009. Should you be unable to try on one of the samples at the picnic, they will be available for several weeks afterward - call 281.489.9376 for information. Also, you can try on a Canari jersey at the bike store nearest you that carries the Canari brand.

If you would like to purchase a jersey, please print and complete the order form. For the club's initial purchase, please pay by check and note in the memo field of your check: PCC Club Jersey. Present your order form, along with your check, to a club officer when you see one of them, or mail it to:

We will take orders for 2-3 weeks then make our first purchase. From the time we submit our order to Canari, it will be approximately 8 weeks before the jerseys arrive. After we complete the first purchase with Canari, we will make the jerseys available for purchase on Active.com.
